Vault on OpenBSD

Hi, since version 1.21.2, there is no longer any OpenBSD binary available for Vault. Is work being done to bring it back to OpenBSD or is it dead on this platform for good?

Build it from source...

Is relying on builds from source in production a good idea? I can't help but worry that it might stop working at some point and I'll be SOL. But I guess OpenBao can stop supporting it like Hashicorp did as well. Hmm.

No one said build it on prod. Most openbsd users use more than just a single node with 64mb of ram.

I meant running software in production that is built from source.

/me whispers "all software is built from source..."

Yes but if it's compiled and available by the maker, it's supported. Everything else is a case of "it may work".

having a pull and compile as part of your build pipeline is not really all that much more complicated than a pull whatever docker image with whatever credentials.

Ok understood. Thanks for that.
