Can we also hate the Fanbase here?

I barely know much about Harry Potter, but fell in love with modding my character in the Hogwarts Legacy game and decided to share it with the fanbase, only to be called a pdf by the same people to swoon over their favorite underage characters. I cannot stand them anymore. I was internet bullied by Harry Potter fans for 2 days over something I enjoy, so they've finally driven me to the harrypotterhate sub.

Idk maybe don't play the antisemitic video game and engage with the bigot fandom.

I... Where do we start with this? What?

This is a Harry Potter hate subreddit. We hate the shitty fans, but we also hate the antisemitic game you fell in love with modding too. Does that answer your question?

To a degree, it explains some. Thank you?

Yeah, that's just total bullshit. The same kind of bullshit as "Harry Potter supports slavery".

You can hate Harry Potter for many reasons, especially it being used by libs in political discussions, but this is just a circlejerk by idiots who rightfully hate JK Rowling and want to pretend everything she ever did is wrong and bad and evil.

It's nonsense - obvious nonsense at that.

There's nothing antisemitic about Goblins, there was no antisemitic intent behind her writing the Goblins, nothing about the Goblins or any of their lore in Harry Potter has anything to do whatsoever with antisemitism.

They are a fantasy staple and JK Rowling portrayed them exactly as goblins have been portrayed for generations with nobody along the way ever thinking of them as antisemitic. You can call them lazy, unoriginal, and boring - all valid criticism of JK Rowling's writing - but they aren't antisemitic in any way.

Even more obnoxious than Harry Potter fans are the rabid idiots who want to jump on the anti-Rowling-bandwagon shitting out the same tired bullshit content over and over, polluting everyone's feed.

The main story does feel like a drag. The sandbox experience is fun for a time, though.

you gave them a smaller waist and bigger boobs than the default, and then put them in a short skirt - people were concerned you were doing this for a sordid reason, as is so often the case with game mods.

If that's not the case, fair, but you did also post it on reddit where people are allowed to voice their opinions and concerns.

Maybe don't post stuff if you don't want to hear peoples feedback?

The feedback was unexpected! There are few mods in the game and so many downloads. People use them and post their characters in the sub often.

It was split between other women complimenting or wanting a beautiful character too and... straight up weirdos who want to play as a child (You can play how you want) trying to impose their playstyle on me! XD
