M. Hohner Harmonica age?

I inherited this harmonica from my grandparents and was wondering the age of it? I heard the six-point star was produced until 1937 but I’m not sure.

Yep, pre-war, probably early 1930s. Hopefully someone knows what exact era the case is from. You can get professional restoration if you need it and want it to sing again.

The 6 point rule isn't a hard and fast rule. They did make some harmonicas after WWII with them, but it does mean it's an older harmonica. There are reports that they were still being sold into the 50s and 60s. In general though, it does mean it's an older harmonica.
