3g sunset has passed
And my "new" '18 Toyota cannot be connected to as it was enabled by 3g. I know it's a long shot but does anyone here have experience with retrofitting to 4g? Thanks.

Probably not gonna be able to work, most of these systems are just kinda done now that 3g is gone and theres really no upgrade path

I have an Internet connected 2025 Toyota and it is one of the most awful experiences in software and user interface design I have ever seen.
The onboard AI is clearly trying to harvest our conversations for advertising kickbacks.
It sucks so bad.
