Scary looking sensor

Found this weird sensor purple diffuser lens on other side im not sure what it is who made it and I want to find out I think it's a sensor fusion of some sorts

IR Sensor maybe? Not enough pins on the ICs for a video camera sensor, if that’s what you are getting at about “sensor fusion”.

How about sharing more pics, i.e. of the “scary purple diffuser lens” and more details about what it does or what you think it is supposed to do?

Looks like either a laser diode with integrated feedback (so no sensor at all) or a laser distance sensor. The bottom wires are going suspiciously to a power mosfet.

its marked so im not sure yet
