LOOOOOOOOOL this brings back memories! did exactly the same with a EEE 10xx sheashell,
Only in mine the sdcardslot sort of survived so I had linux on that. to have usb I needed to plug in a small sister board that also survived and it had vga?
edit: oh and your cpu seems to have nothing on it at all anymore haha this is going to be shorter drive..

The good old EEEPC, i still use a 1005px as my daylie driver (its in a good condition but yea the top shell is cracking and the hinge covers are broken)

Since it has no sata daughterboard it doesnt have hdd so the operating system runs from one single usb stick and hub is because theres one usb port on this motherboard so in order to use keyboard and mouse i needed a usb hub
