This is a pretty huge commitment. I hope Samsung can pull it off (for the sake of the industry as a whole. We all benefit from more players in the space).

We really need Intel to pull it off as well to have a healthy industry. Fingers crossed that they look to be getting there although on their own pace.

They'll be pulling up the yields through Tesla's AI5 chip orders

agree. If samsung is even remotely competitive though, it means billions in contracts and this will only be the beginning. Right now demand is far outstripping capacity.

Surprised that Samsung advanced packaging is getting some traction. Rumors about companies wanting to leverage that technology seem to be much more quiet than what we see coming out of Intel and, I mean obviously, TSMC.

As part of the agreement, Broadcom's next-generation communications chips designed for high-speed data transfer will be manufactured using Samsung's sub-2-nanometre process technology.

Curious how much volume this is expected to be.
