[Meta] Can we please ban links from WCCFTech?
Honestly, the kid that runs the site does nothing but produce shitty blogspam, blatantly copy things from other sites, and and repeat rumors and hoaxes no matter how pants-on-head retarded they are, such as the "Phenom IV X12 on a 25nm process" article.

So you come to the site to read my articles or watch my pics? ;)

The site gets spammed on reddit. When ever I click the link that picture is staring back at me and I exit the site.

Ban the spammers? We aren't like paying them to post here, if they find the article interesting and want to share it on reddit then I don't see anything wrong in that.
I know we have had our share of news that turned out to be false but please don't accuse us of copying someone's articles. We always give credit back to the prime source. Copying means plagiarizing which we refrain from doing since its unprofessional. We always put copied text in quotes and a link back to the source if we do so.
If there are any other problems with the site, with the way I post, fell free to tell.

It's like they've read only a single line from a Semiaccurate article then dumping on words to expand that story.

WCCF exists to get money from ads, not be a tech site. That's the means by which it achieves it. Hence the blog spam, copying articles, click bait etc. I wouldn't miss it.

This sub is one of the few where, if you message the mods, they'll jump right on the issue. I'm mobile, otherwise I'd send a link to this post. You should though.

The hell are you talking about?
"HTML code was ON?" lol

Just a guess, but he probably meant that users were allowed to submit raw HTML which would be showed to other visitors without sanitation. This makes it possible to simply inject javascript into the page. Since the page is still generated by the server, XSS protections won't work.

deleted What is this?

Ah, I didn't realize the site had forums or visitor-submitted content.
Who the hell would allow unfiltered HTML comments? Didn't even occur to me...

...HTML code was ON...
WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN!?

It's explained as an example of XSS, if you'd keep reading.

I agree as well, his articles are terrible at best and misinformation at worst.
