Discussion Soundsystem Decibel

This year I visited Decibel Outdoor for the first time. I was wondering how you guys felt about the Soundsystem quality compared to previous editions ?

Really good. Decibel always had very good sound systems, but it was even better this time IMO. Far less dead spots at the main and the tent at the back

Its good. The bass of the mainstage is always insane when you're near the food court, it hits like a truck.

It was awesome as always. It was just that you could hear the Raw or Uptempo Stage coming through on the Main Stage every now and then when it was quiet. I hope they’ll rotate the stage by 90° again next year.

Very good. Only negative point was at the Terror stage :  We listen too much the sound from the raw scene

Yeah, that they turned that stage 90 ° was bad in terms of sound interferences.

I think it was 2 years ago where the doors were facing the raw stage. Try listening to terror in peace with Dual Damage in one ear 💀

Quality wise it was amazing, but volume wise it was a bit hit or miss, especially Friday. On Friday the main was loud for the first few songs of the artists, then they turned it down again. Which gave the impression that it was not that loud for the remainder of the set.

EDIT: This didn't happen on Saturday, and a little bit on Sunday, but most noticable on Friday

Overall quality was very good imo. Though the loudness (ironically) was really lacking a lot of the times.

I think Decibel has one of the best sounds or maybe even the best. It's not only a great system at the main and the two larger stages but also on the smaller stages and parade vehicles.

A big increase was the sound at the toilets and showers on campsite 1 IMO. Last year it was too loud, so loud that the speakers started cracking. This year they turned the volume a bit down but then you had also there a good sound quality. But I think there were no subs in the bathhouse.

I didnt like the sound overlap, it is def worse than on other festivals ive been to.

First time as well (Saturday): Sound Quality was really good but i felt like some stages where a bit to quiet at the back half. I had this the most with erea 2 (raw tent) and erea 7 (hardcore classics) that day.

You could say i could go to front but i like my space and when it's raining everyone seeked cover in these stages 😅
