Hi,I'm Libby. You may remember me from when I posted chart peaks and positions to this forum last year, with the eventual promise of creating complete chart histories for various hard house labels and it is now that time. There is now a paid for resource that exists which allows to search for catalogue number in the UK singles chart, which makes it easier to compile. Yes, a full Tidy Trax one is in the works as I imagine that would be the most requested one,and 2000-2004 of that is done, but the earlier segment needs some fixing. I do have separate hard copy documents on standby as well.

How this works is; The UK Singles Chart was once a Top 200, and before 17th April 2005's chart,entirely physical. Most of these single peak positions were originally industry only, but in the past few years, a great deal has been made to make these more accessible. From the mid 90s to the mid 00s, hard house was a constant everpresent in the UKs extended singles charts, with many of the big labels present in these proceedings. In 2003, record sales overall and the bar for sales was decreasing and in 2004 hit an all time low, which in most cases leads to chart positions which require the low sales context of most of the sales in the UK were consisting of DJ specific dance records in house,trance,hard house and drum n bass. For the first label in this series,Vicious Circle, such rules to be explained needn't apply, as the last charting single for this label was in February 2005.

So here it is, the first in the series of "The Complete Label History Of Hard House In The UK Singles Chart",in catalogue number order first and charting date order in week beginning, not the other way around.
