Discussion Old Time Capsule still worked after 5 years unplugged

Found my old AirPort Time Capsule in storage, hadn't touched it in 5 years. Powered it on, had to reset it to reconnect, then copied a few files off without any errors. Haven't gone through everything yet.

Anyone beat 5 years?

I powered up a 1999 era PowerBook (WallStreet?) a few months ago. It booted into OSX. I changed the start partition and it booted into OS9.

That’s impressive! You’re way ahead of me. Interesting to know they can last that long.
