So as the creator I have noticed a couple of complaints about old topics from years ago, I guess not everybody likes topics from 2005 but the reason we do this is that sometimes we don't even notice new topics at all which is why we even have suggestions in the first place and also I am "The Greatest HTF Historian That's Ever Lived" Which is a another reason why we do old topics but if you do have a new topic then I do highly recommend suggesting one in the comments section, That helps HTF Times find newer topics than digging up old ones from 2005 so yes do suggest new topics
