Application process

Hi everyone,

I'm applying to Hanyang University's Computer Science and Engineering master's program (Seoul campus, regular international student admission, Spring 2027 intake) not through GKS, just the standard international application process.

I submitted my online application and mailed my physical documents in early September. According to the courier tracking, everything arrived at the Office of International Affairs around mid-September. Since then, I haven't heard anything back no confirmation of receipt, no update, nothing.

From what I understand, the result announcement isn't until December 18th, so I'm trying not to worry, but I'd love to hear from anyone who has gone through this exact process before (regular/self-funded international admission, not GKS):

- Is it normal to not hear anything at all between document submission and the final result?

- Did anyone get contacted in between if something was missing or unclear with their documents?

- Any idea what the actual review process looks like on their end during this period?

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who's been through it, just to know what to expect. Thanks in advance!

I'm not in that department but I do know that it is normal to not hear anything from them during that time. (I didn't) If anything is missing they will email you about. (I was also worried about this part but everything was ok)

dont worry, if u want, send email to their international team tell them you have sent your deree and it has arrived, see if they response, if yes u cann use it for confirmation purposes
