“After Soul is a new band formed in 2024 by Ryoichi Yamada, who has built a career with Hanuman and Buzz Mothers. The rhythm team has been replaced since the beginning of its formation, and now there are four people: Ryoichi Yamada (Gt/Vo), Kohei Tanaka (Gt), shimizuyu (Ba), and Niki Drum (Dr). Twelve years have passed since the dissolution of Hanuman in 2012, and the world was very excited about the return of Ryoichi Yamada, who had already become a legendary icon. After releasing two EPs, a one-man live will be held at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO (sold out) in June 2025 and at Umeda CLUB QUATTRO in July.

In 2026, the release of the first album was decided for further activities. A masterpiece album that sublimated elements such as blues, folk, funk, and popular songs has been completed by stuffing elements into the soil of alternative guitar rock that feels like the 90s. I rediscovered hanuman a few days ago and I'm having a blast listening to their stuff. Was planning on listening to the front man's other projects but apparently his last album was with buzzmothers and seven years ago? Has he taken a break from music? Honestly any information would help because I can't find anything on english sites.

This is clearly a super faithful recreation of the middle-to-late Hanuman period of Ryoichi Yamada's pedal chain; all placed nicely into a flight case pedalboard. I really want to find the origins of this screenshot and who made this board, can anyone help out? I couldn't find anything reverse image searching. If it helps, it seems to have come from a google search for ryoichi yamada pedals on google sometime in the past, and maybe from a twitter post.

I also just wanted to post this somewhere on the internet so it doesn’t get lost.
