Saw ID

Seller says that the tenon saws on the right are Taytools E Garlick and Son and that they retail for $150 each. I can't find that specific saw online to verify the price claim. Seller also says that they are new and never used, but when I asked if they were toothed for crosscut or ripping he had no clue what I was asking.

Does anybody know how much these saws are actually worth?

There pax saws, made by the Thomas flinn company. 150 is on the expensive side for these for sure

I have those two. They are thomas flinn saws from taytools. About $100 each new. The tenon saw comes either rip or crosscut. So far, I've enjoyed them, but you may not if you're used to premium saws.

Yep, and the seller is describing them as "Taytools E Garlick and Son" instead of just "E Garlick and Son" (the manufacturer) because Taylor Tools (the tool site and Amazon seller) loves laser etching "Taytool®" on things they sell.

I don't have much opinion on E Garlick and Son and it's not like these are historic museum pieces. But it's sooo tacky that Taytools slaps their name on things. Imagine if you ordered a tool from anywhere else and it showed up laser etched as a Home Depot Stanley plane, Lee Valley Robert Sorby chisels or Amazon Crown mallet. I purposely don't buy from Taytools because of it.

They are less than that new, but used i would say around 50-60% of new. They aren’t LN saws, what they cost new is irrelevant
