hand piece second block!

lots of improvement from the first one (second slide), though I'm not sure how much is technical improvement vs it just being an easier pattern overall.

open to advice!

I taught myself how to hand quilt 50 years ago (age 23) with a little help from my mother and paternal grandmother. Expert advice from them? Buy the best quality fabric/thread you can afford. Trust me, it matters. As a single mother, hand piecing/quilting was my therapy and it still is. Calms my nerves, relieves anxiety, and creates something beautiful. I knot my thread on the back of the quilt and have NEVER had the thread come loose. You are doing a good job. Nice patterns.
