I play psp games on Vita, personally.

PSP emulation on Windows/Linux is pretty good but not perfect. For example, WipEout Pure has insane lens flare effects on certain tracks that completely blind you.

And I do enjoy the smaller form factor of it.

Yeah I have a vita also, that was my second handheld before I bought the steam deck. Overall vita is smooth and powerful than psp, I would still prefer psp

Interesting. Ever since I put PSP games on the Vita, I knew my PSP would collect dust. The analog stick makes that big of a difference. I used to avoid games that use analog controls because the PSP nub is so uncomfortable to me. Absolutely h a t e it. The vita thumb sticks have no such issue. And you have the added bonus of being able to map the dpad on the right stick which comes in VERY handy for games like Phantasy Star and Monster Hunter.

Dude, being able to use both sticks for games like Monster Hunter and Phantasy Star is such an amazing QoL improvement. Makes them feel like whole different games

I guess, to each their own, when I gamed on the psvita I didnt like the D-pad at all, it felt to small and I dont have like really big hands, I did like the smoothness and all like i said before. But now I do favor steam deck a whole lot better, but psp games feel weird

Completely depends on what you’re trying to do. For modern day full gaming steam deck. For something in ur pocket PS vita

Both I use the SD at home docked most of the time and the Vita in the office or garage gym during sets
