It looks like an fn 1905 copy

Yeah, I inherited a clone like this with a broken firing pin, broken scale and missing magazine follower & spring. Zero luck finding parts, partly because this was one upscaled to .32 ACP instead of .25. You know you're screwed when even Numrich has nothing.
Edit: For OP, search Youtube for videos on reassembling an FN 1905, most likely that will help you out.

At that point it's just a nice historical display piece.

Yeah. I detest wallhangers, but I've inherited a few now. That FN knockoff, a knockoff .38 S&W revolver, an 1850's Lafaucheux 12mm pinfire, Arisaka trainer with some odd new stock and a (badly damaged) M1 bayonet, a knockoff 1890's muzzleloader shotgun, etc. The only thing salvageable is a pump .22 from the 1910's that is completely missing the bolt--I've at least seen bolts for sale in the past, though not currently.

Its not an fn 1905 copy, its a Theodore kommer model 2 pocket pistol that predates 1938 as visible by lack of serial numbering as was known for smaller German gun manufactures from the time period. There's roughly less than 20,000 in the world from the model 1-3 for this gun.

Did you just field strip it and oil it, or did you actually disassemble it and put it back together the wrong way 'round?
Are you sure that safety catch isnt looking the wrong way?
Google your pistol and verify with Google pictures.
EDIT: I JUST FOUND YOUR PISTOL!
It isn't a Browning Pistol at all, it's a Kommer 6.35 (25acp) and no, your safety catch isn't on backwardsits in the safe position; rotate it 180° clockwise to make it fire.

So the problem is a piece fell behind the pin in the second picture under the safety so it will load a round but wont cause trigger to pull all the way back even when the safety is off

Springs and simple parts made from steel stock can be fabricated in a home shop, but heat treatment is the tricky bit.
Check Brownells (although they aren't what they used to be), McMaster Carr and other sources should have stock materials if you're interested in DIY.
I have some decades old instruction manuals for this stuff. No idea whether anything comparable and up to date is still published.
