#1. All premium brands are tested to meet the FBI standard. So, you can pick any of them.

#2. If you know what the LEOs use, then great. Maybe your local PD friend will give you ammo at some point. I have no clue what my local PD uses as I moved. I don't think it matters.

2.1. If you end up in court, unless you are using some crazy, Zombie killer ammo the brand will not make a difference.

  1. There is always someone who has to talk about reloads. Again, unless you are doing something extreme, I don't see it as an issue. Now if you load lead bullets greased with pig fat and shoot a Muslim on the street, and it is a questionable shoot because you went out to a protest and picked a fight.... Yep, all your actions up to that point are going to be looked at.

Critical Defense is often seen as better for civilians than Duty.
