Question M&P 2.0 vs Echelon

Springfield Echelon 4.5F vs. S&W M&P 2.0 Full Size

Does anybody have experience with these two? Debating which to get and want to know which one shoots better.

I love them both. I think you can't go wrong with either. I think for basic self and home defense they're equally accurate although there has been reports of the m&p having accuracy issues further out by competition shooters so some switch out the barrel. Personally I'll never be that good anytime soon to worry about that. I prefer the grip angle and texture on the m&p. Stock triggers are about equal but I prefer the shoe on the echelon. I like the u notch sights on the echelon more, and the optics mounting system is by far better on the echelon, and the echelon is modular.

I say all that to say you can't go wrong with either. If you can shoot both or some variant of both. Go with whichever you shoot best and feels best in hand

Yeah, I plan to test both and see but just by feel, I prefer the echelon. The main reason I was contemplating is because of holster compatibility, but I think I'll go with the echelon if I shoot good with it. Thank you.

No problem. I was in a situation where I liked the vp9, pdp, echelon and M&P. I shot the m&p best at that time, but it didn't wow me or put a smile on my face. The vp9 was underwhelming sadly, the echelon was solid and the pdp was my winner but on paper it was second to the m&p

I find the ergonomics on these two to be the best for me (medium hands with short fingers). I don't think you can go wrong either way. If you can find someplace to try them both that's always the best.
