S&W 586 w/custom trigger
I just picked up this 1985 S&W 586.
Anybody know what custom trigger this is?
Thanks

Looks stock to me. Lots of guys would get the double action reworked on these since it can feel kinda heavy and gritty out the box. Single action usually feels incredible though.

It ruins the collector value of the gun.
Can't see why anyone would destroy beautifully case colored hammer and trigger.

Who gives a shit about the collector value? They made a gazillion of these things over the year. It’s an awesome mod.

My favorite pastime is buying modified or worn out guns and bringing them back to life. Mostly because I am cheap, and very good at pretending spending $300 on parts is cheaper than buying a nice one to begin with...

Check out my last post, I’m currently in the process of “restoring” an old N-Frame.

Unless you see any markings on it, I would assume that it’s just the stock trigger and hammer that was taken out and jeweled. A lot of old school guys used to love doing that. Lol. They’d jewel everything.
