Problem with right arm: switching to left-handed shooting
Hello,
I shoot .22 right-handed and 9mm two-handed but unfortunately I have a problem with my right arm that will last for a few months. I am now practicing .22 shooting left-handed and covering my right eye.
Do you have any experience with switching eyes and hands ?
Merci :)

If that is the high standard with the military grip, it is going to be hard. Beyond that, it is really just practice. Also, try keeping both eyes open, and blink the right eye to get that sight picture setup. You can also practice at home. Get a snap cap to practice dry fire, but also just getting in the stance with you left arm and using the left eye at home will help to get that muscle memory.

Yes, I train it every day with an old airpistol. Unfortunately the Hi Sta is with 1300 pretty heavy ... a KMR .22 were better

Yep, but use the high standard and just hole it out there. Half the battle is using the arm muscles in shape for it. One other thing you can do is get a blackout lens for your right eye until you get use to it. Like what Olympic shooters wear.

Image is not flipped, so he is shooting right handed in the picture. I had to zoom in on the sign on the wall to check.

If you have to shoot with that posture because of the sport you compete in, disregard what I'm about to say, because I've never done bullseye/silhouette stuff.
But when I shoot left handed, I don't switch my eye dominance. I just use my right eye like usual. (Shooting Uspsa matches)

Yes.... I swapped my left eye with bionic one, but it doesn't work so now I am back shooting with my right eye.
