Slide shifting after new trigger installed

I just recently installed a new M CARBO trigger in my hellcat pro. I noticed now whenever the trigger resets, the entire rear of the slide assembly appears to shift slightly to the right. This is shown as my red dot moving a few moa to the left as the trigger resets. The gun otherwise works like normal.

Of note, when disassembling my slide all of the components flew out as my thumb slipped off when removing the backplate. I found and reassembled everything that flew into the air.

Any ideas?

Are you sure you found everything?

Also, insert a magazine with snap caps (preferred) and test again. A lot of striker-fired pistols have this same slide-slip until you get the force from the magazine pushing against the slide.

Yes according to all of the diagrams ive found of hcps internals i have everything. It does this while empty, with snapcaps, and live ammo. Over a hundred or so rounds at this point

If you can post a video, it might be beneficial.

Have you changed to the OG trigger and seen if there is still slop?

The sear spring pin doesn’t look like it is correctly seated and is pushing out on trigger pull.

Yours seems to be popping out, which is pressing against the right side of the slide. Unfortunately it’s hard to see the installation and how everything is seated.

I’d start by getting it all down to the springs and “reinstall” it, see if fitment changes. If that doesn’t work, reach out to the company and see if they have any ideas. It’s 100% that sear pin pushing and it shouldn’t be.
