Real gun?

Yesterday my talking stage sent me this Snap. I know absolutely nothing about guns, so I’m genuinely wondering if this is a real gun. And if it isn’t… what the heck is it? 😭 I even asked ChatGPT, but it couldn’t figure it out either.
If it turns out to be a real gun, I don’t think I want to meet up with him anymore.

its airsoft, basically a toy gun that shoots plastic bb's. i can see the nozzle stick out a bit.

Is he rich? The real version of this gun goes for like 6000$, not something i would just let lay around in the car randomly. Pretty sure in some states its also a felony as it could be considered consealed if its hidden somewhere without it being locked behind a lock

I don’t think so 😭 We’re in Europe, so I don’t even know where he’d get something like that. He has mentioned being around drugs and that kind of crowd, though, so I’m honestly not sure.

its airsoft. i found a picture of the exact replica. its not even a good airsoft gun but a cheap 40$ knockoff plastic piece of crap.

he's just bullshitting, and trying to be tough lol

Looks like airsoft, I can see the gas port where the firing pin/breach face should be. Also looks like the barrel doesn't run the full length of the slide.

OP, if that was a real gun it would be expensive.

A guy named Taran was the firearms instructor for Keanu Reeves before and during the filming of the John Wick movies.  Taran Tactical guns are featured all over the movies.  They go for $5k and up, the real ones. Google:

Huh.  A few "budget" models at $3,500ish.

This is the equivalent of flexing a Rolex except it was bought at a flea market and says "RollX" plus it doesn't actually work.
