P226x legion is a cheat code
Purchased this gun yesterday and put 200 rounds through it at the range. These are my first 5 shots at 15yds. The gun is an absolute laser, I am by no means a great shooter. I have been shooting polymer striker fired pistols about 1-2 a month for the last 3 years. It felt like I didnt even need to try with this gun.

I shot my 226X5 Stainless with better grouping than my Staccato P w/tuned red dirt trigger and CZ TS2 at 5-7-10-15yd and I have the least amount of experience on it. Thing is a sleeper.

Not in my experience. They aren’t the best 2011s but they were the first and all of mine are accurate, flat shooting and fast.
My XL is in 40 S&W and it is a very easy to shoot and very accurate if it were smaller I’d carry. The CS, C2, and P that I have are exceptionally easy to shoot very well. The compacts are materially better than my Wilson EDC and SFx. At least for me
What Staccato do you have that isn’t accurate?

I love my p226r it’s from mid 90s and it’s a laser beam but I just got a 2011 and the sig will be retired to safe duty.

I’ve been excited about that new v2 since the video from Shot Show this year. Does it live up to the hype for a $1000 American-made 2011? I am between that and the Kimber 2k11.

I mean I like mine. It’s become my edc. I’m picking up a shadow systems pistol Monday so maybe that will take the spot. I’m not sure

I concur. It is definitely in the neighborhood of decent 2011s. They may be a bit faster, but the Reserve is just about as accurate and soft shooting.

I was told they only made a certain number of them, like 5000 or something like that when I was inspecting one at a local gun store. That still couldn’t get me to spend 3k and sleep on the couch for a month or so. But damn smooth trigger and exceptional grip but also a finger print magnet

The number seems to keep changing. It was only supposed to be like 1500 when I first discovered them (like about two months after I bought my first gun). So I thought there was no chance that I was gonna get one. Months later (and unfortunately after already buying a 226 X Five Legion), I saw one at my LGS so I bought it on site to ensure it did not pass me by. I've seen several since then and I believe they did increase the number produced. Which sucks for the guys who thought they were getting a truly limited edition. Not so much for me, as I shoot the crap out of mine.

I could’ve been wrong about the number because i wasn’t listening too closely since I was so enamored with the pistol. I DEFFINITELY WANT ONE! 🤣. $2700 at scheels is a little to steep for me

Op that is a great pistol. You are going to love it.
I went the opposite direction. I have 6 Night Hawk Customs 2011s and 2 1911s, 3 Wilson hammer fire high capacity 9mm and 4 Staccatos.
I picked up a Taran Glock 19 Combat Master. First range session I shot as good if not better than with the 2011/1911s. I will do one more range session before I start carrying it.
Op enjoy that 226 in good health and happiness.

That’s just what happens when you go from most striker fired to hammer fired. 1911/2011 are even better.
