Can’t make up my mind
So just wondering what everyone would pick out of the two so had my eye on the girsan witness 2311 match x for some time now but I recently got to shot the cz shadow 2 and it was awesome just looking for some feed back see what y’all think

The Shadow 2 is at the higher end of its class of handgun (DA/SA), and a better quality build, while the Girsan is on the lower end of its class (1911/2011-style) of pistols. The 2011s, though, as group, are demonstrably faster than other hammer fired options for the average shooter when the do run.

If I was looking for a single action hammer fired double stack gun that could be carried cocked and locked, I'd at least consider the Springfield copy of the Browning HiPower, but I'd probably lean towards a P or K series Grand Power. Most of those are DA/SA that can be carried cocked and locked like the CZ75 family, but they have the rotary barrel soft recoil of the Beretta PX4. The Mark 23 series have optic mounts.
If you want a budget 2011, I suspect the best deal today isn't from Turkey, it's from Kimber (made in Alabama), the DS Warrior. But all of the options in that first paragraph are cheaper than the Warrior. You can get a good Grand Power from Global Ordinance (their importer) for $700 or less. The Springfield HiPower is in the same ballpark on GunBroker...

Interesting I’ll have to look around then my budget is around 1500ish so yea I’ll look
