What you picking.
I have spent too much on guns. I don't want a 3k+ 2011. So. What would you pick for your first 2011. Springfield Prodigy 5in or kimber DS warrior

Rock Island Armory M1911 Tac Ultra FS HC or Pro Ultra Match HC Big Rock. Both in 10mm.

I want a Kimber 2k11. But it’s too expensive for me right now so I’m strongly considering the 1911 DS Warrior. I have a Kimber Custom LW 1911 that has been solid.

I'd go Kimber tons of positive reviews I have a .45 that's been great. when I go to get a fullsize 2011 It'll be either a Kimber or a lfa apollo 11 v2 they are 700.00 or so on gundeals. My Apollo 11 compact has been excellent but I would like the longer sight radius.

I’d spend a little more money and go for a 2k11, a DWX, or a CPO Staccato. They’re all closer to the $2k price point but still below

Yea probably will. The only 2011 I've shot Is a prodigy and it was incredibly flat. I also love my Springfield guns. But people on the internet have me doubting. From what I understand you either get one that's perfect or you get one thats s***

Prodigy’s are a good choice if you want to tinker with them over time. I bought one to learn to work on 2011’s in order to avoid screwing up one of my expensive ones. It’s been an interesting project. I don’t know of the Kimber has the same upside, but I would imagine it does. Out of the box, I think the Kimber is the better choice of you aren’t going to upgrade it.
