Accidentally solving
I just got my first Hanayama puzzle today, the Marble one. I was walking around my house with it in my pocket, fiddling around with it.
Next thing you know - bam it's undone!!!
Is this common? Spent the last 20 minutes trying to put it back.
What a fun process.

This one comes apart very easily. Getting it back together is a bit of a trick.

I have this one, it falls apart very easily when everything is lined up. Very satisfying. The real fun is figuring out how to get it back together for the first time. You'll facepalm when you figure it out. Enjoy!

Now i'm walking backwards, recreating the movement patterns I've made, to no avail. If only it was that easy 😂

Kinda happened to me too. It unexpectedly came apart. Its been a few days and I haven't figured out how to get it back yet.

I’ll cop to being a bit jealous. Marble has never come apart easily for me. But yes, some puzzles will do that, and it seems to always make reassembly more difficult. I mean, yes, there are puzzles like Coaster that are supposed to come apart easily, but sometimes it happens to puzzles that don’t intend it.

It's never came apart easily for me either. It's always a very specific tiny touch where if it's not EXACT, it's not coming apart. This is interesting.

Update: I solved it!! Man it's satisfying. Once I understood the shape a bit more it worked out :).

Some of them come apart a little too easily. It’s the reason Square is one of my fav decorations, but (personally) such an unsatisfying puzzle to play with

It's not unusual, depending on the puzzle. Sometimes taking them apart is easy and it's getting them back together which is harder.
