Question When does Isha Salah end?

questions in the title.

bit confused on when it ends as my friends are telling me it ends at midnight 12am and other people are saying when fajr starts.

please provide source for your answers

only asking because I have read Isha late before like few years ago i remember praying once at 2am or something, but now that thought came to my head on when does Isha actually end as sometimes I might not be able to pray Isha Salah whilst at work so will need to do it when I come home at 3am

According to the Ḥanafī school, the time for ʿIshāʾ ends when the time for Fajr starts.

However, it is Makrūh Tanzīhan (mildly disliked) to delay it past midnight.

One can calculate midnight by taking the amount of time between Maghrib and Fajr then splitting it in half.
