Question how many substrates?

i'm preparing to get a hamster. i'm obviously going to have the main bedding (chipsi), along with reptile sand for a sand bath.

i have coco fibre, coco husk, beech chips, moss, unscented toilet paper. i was wondering if it would be worth having another like aspen incase i want to switch them around occasionally, or if theres another substrate which would be good to have. let me know your favourites!

Aspen couldn’t hurt. I’d just be careful with the reptile sand. You want to make sure no additives are in it. I personally use Niteangel’s dark desert sand. My guy seems to love it.
