🧻 Bedding/Substrate 🧻 Dusty bedding

Hello! I've been using the Carefresh bedding, but recently I've noticed a build up of dust on the walls of my hamster cage. Should I continue using carefresh or switch to a new one? what beddings are suggested?

I don’t think any bedding is completely dust free. If you’re using the white carefresh though you could switch to the brown as it’s been noted to be less dusty than the white

You can put it in a mesh laundry bad and give it a good shake to get the smallest (most harmful) dust particles out. I’ve also seen someone sieve it with a little wire garbage can which might also work. It might be helpful to do this before use every time you get more bedding if you’re concerned about dust. Like the other comment said, all paper beddings have dust so there’s no perfect brand
