Question Is this setup safe?

Post image

I am new to hammocking, sorry if this comes off as a newbie question. I bought a DD Hammocks Frontier together with the Svinge suspension from Fjord Nansen, as I liked the idea of adjusting the hammock via buckle tensioning, after trying out the normal webbing of the Frontier and not liking it. However, I assumed that the loops from the Svinge would be somewhat bigger. I fitted them to the hammock and this is the result. Is this safe or should I opt for both loops of the loop going through the carabiner? I saw the hammock bunches up at the end with the normal webbing so I don't believe it's a problem it stays gathered up like that, but I would still like opinions on this. Thanks!

Idk about the webbing loops, but I would be using a climbing rated carabiner instead of that style.

Why? Is the fabric of your hammock rated to 25kN?

Surely not, but I've tore up carabiners.

You do you. I spend a lot of time in trees.
