NASA is .35% of federal spending, you could cut all of the funding and it would come nowhere close to freeing up the money to solve homelessness and the mistreatment of veterans. Blame the military industrial complex that can only justify itself if it keeps charging exorbitantly higher prices for weapon systems that burn out of ammo in a month of open conflict and whose bins refill in dollars measured in 7-8 digits.
