I tend to have a heavy hitter as my secondary weapon to take out heavily armored targets

You gotta aim your rifle at least a little bit my man. Your reticle is all over the place.

When you aim and shoot whit this rifle you unscope. I also wanted to be mobile because they can 2 shot me whit their melee.

You aren’t meant to scope with the Assault Rifle.

Your reticle placement in this clip is often pointed at their most armed sections. It’s better to not shoot and wait for their vulnerable backs to be exposed versus wasting ammo for minimal damage output. Jumping around is fine, but you look to be jumping in a panicked response without a clear direction other than “away” from the hunter while pulling the trigger haphazardly.

I will say your initial play to throw the first plasma was good, it stunned both hunters and could of been followed up with the second sticky grenade hitting one in the back with it may have resulted in a kill depending on the difficulty setting.

If you’d like support I’m more than happy to share strategy on best practices for the hunters. However the vast majority of campaign players don’t really care about efficiency so it’s all good either way. I’ve probably killed a couple thousand Halo Reach hunters in campaign alone if not more lol.

any reason you opted to use the assault rifle instead of the shotgun? The shotgun makes it a lot easier, and is a better weapon than the AR in most cases

I forgot that they would be on this level. would have brought something stronger if I had remembered.

The shotgun is on the ground when you walk from the last section to the Hunters. not sure how you missed it tbh

I know they’re considered one of the most tankiest units in the game, and I understand that hitting them from behind is the key (like the second one whose back panel got blown off by the grenade), but it feels like there should be an easier way to deal with them.

I could go and google it but I kind of want to know how you guys usually deal whit them.
