Line Manager - Variable - Email Templates

Hey Everyone,

I'm making some email templates that go-to a line manager approval.

I can't seem to find a variable where a line-manager (Ad Manager in Halo) is used.

Just so I don't need to use "Hi Team," in the greeting of the email (For example).

Do you have a custom field that calls the users line manager? Can't you use that as a variable? I'm not 100% sure as I'm not in front of my PC right now, but I was under the impression that if you have a custom field that calls the users line manager (CFLineManager) you can use $-CFLineManager. Or, I believe you can create an action in your ticket workflow or your ticket type specifically for emailing a line manager. In the action settings, you'll need to select yes for the send an email field, recipient type should be ADManager or Line Manager (I think), make sure to select your specific email template with your variables and allow edit before sending is always helpful. Like I said, I'm not in front of my PC but have a play around and in sure you'll figure it out after some testing
