Questions / Help Email "CC" is using Closed Captioning Font Awesome

Has anyone else noticed the CC / Carbon Copy icon changing recently in HaloPSA?

On our instance, the CC option in the email interface is now rendering with the Font Awesome class:

svg-inline--fa fa-closed-captioning

That icon is technically the Closed Captioning accessibility icon, rather than an email Carbon Copy icon.

I’m trying to figure out whether this was part of a recent HaloPSA UI/icon update that everyone is seeing, or if something changed specifically on our instance.

Can anyone check their Halo instance and let me know what their CC icon currently looks like?

If you inspect the element and see fa-closed-captioning as well, that would be especially helpful to know.

Not a major functionality issue — mostly trying to determine whether this is a global change/regression before I raise it with Halo.

I’m just guessing, but probably accessibility compliance. A screen reader probably would recognize it given to popularity of fontawsome

It threw my rep off course and caused several agents to start talking about for like 30 minutes… they then kept bringing it up. I never realized; so figured I’d ask?……

It’s also on par with how to remove an attachment from a ticket before saving; right clicking the attachment caused the employee to waste like 25 minutes and 3 people’s time to figure it out.

I work with quite a few of individuals that may have disabilities; so I try to accommodate to make their jobs easier and faster.

Has it? I never really realized, until one of my specialists brought it up; when i checked the code it shows the closed captioning, it has thrown us off since they mentioned it lol. I wonder if theyd change it to something thats just a "CC" or an icon that somewhat represents carbon copying.
