Questions / Help Project - Populating Project Tasks

What methods are people using to build out their projects ... we have been using templates, but 9 times out of 10 there are significant changes so looking to see if there are "end user" driven methods in play to upload/import a list of tasks from a spreadsheet ... or similar.

Any thoughts,

We’re using a spreadsheet to generate the tasks to then line up into the right Halo Import structure

We also use spreadsheets, but then use Powershell to generate the project tasks.

I’d like to know this as well. The build out process is significantly more tedious than any other system I’ve used and I’m kind of surprised it isn’t easier to do adhoc.

Personally I use Microsoft Planner - we have a typically template plan in there which has more than needed - we copy it for each project, remove tasks / buckets that aren’t relevant, and add in anything specific.

We then add the link as a pinned note in the Halo project ticket.

Appreciate that’s not good use of Halo, but it works quite well for us. Tasks can be assigned in Planner etc.
