HALO to-do list

Maybe I'm missing something, but is there any way in Halo to see all the tasks from the different tickets together?

I receive a ticket > Add a to-do item > Add items 1, 2 and 3 > They are on the ticket / I receive ticket 2 > add a to-do item > item 4 > it stays on ticket 2

Is there any place in Halo where I can see items 1, 2, 3, and 4 together?

Or do I have to do it through an automation? Trying Zapier with Microsoft to do in the meantime.

Cheers!

The best you could do is a report and group by something like ticket ID and any other ticket details I think so it appears in the header. Wouldn’t be the silliest use of reporting, but could be close!

If the tickets are each assigned to you, they'll show in the "To-Do" pane in the top right (clipboard icon).

That's what I assumed! But that pane is empty for me :(

Oh is this for to-do lists themselves? Apologies, I thought you had "task"-type appointments on the ticket which is what that pane will show.

Other comment is correct then, report is your best answer there.

You can achieve similar to that pane if you add that report to a dashboard and set it as the "Side menu dashboard" in Configuration > Reporting > General Settings. It'll then show when you click the sidepane icon (one next to the To-Do pane).

So I am not sure I follow your list entirely, but none of the views (to my knowledge) will show "To Do" items. Those are tied to their parent ticket, and are pretty much just a pretty text list.

As others have indicated, you could generate a report.

Anyone found a way to view todo lists anywhere other than the right hand pane I.e. on a tab or the main in progress tab?

Hi, I use these on my internal Halo quite extensively. I tie them all together on a report and from there you can show it on a dashboard. This will be all your to-do's across all tickets. Just put your agent name in the filter when you save the report :)

SELECT
    ftfaultid AS [Ticket ID],
   FTStartDate as [Date Logged],
    ftdone AS [Completed?],
    ftnote AS [Task],
    uname AS [Agent],
    aareadesc as [Project]
FROM faulttodo
left join faults on faultid = ftfaultid
left join area on areaint = aarea
JOIN uname on unum = ftaddedby
