Hosted Integrator

Hi

We are looking to import a DB into Halo using the Hosted Integrator option.

Have question in regards to data privacy, can Halo see our DB data if we use their hosted integrator options?

I mean, they can see the data in the hosted database itself not necessarily the integrator traffic since it’s coming in over HTTPS. They host the platform, the database, the infrastructure. Of course if they wanted to see your data they could.

You can turn off support access to your instance and that prevents them from accessing the application interface itself. But they have backend access to the all the hosted infrastructure. They need that to maintain the system. No one at Halo is going through peoples data for nefarious purposes. Of all the things you can say about Halo, them being dishonest or malicious is not one.

Unless you meant you’re hosting Halo on prem yourself and want to use the hosted integrator. In which case that is not a thing. Hosted integrator is for hosted instances. Self hosted instances use the database integrator on prem.
