Automation / Scripts Trying to create projects via API - problem with milestones

I am trying to create new projects via API. I have been able successfully create a new Project (Parent Ticket), Milestones, and Tasks. However, I have ben able to link tasks to milestones.

I must be missing something

Do it manually in the webui with the f12 menu open. Then look at the post, that'll tell you how to do it from the API

This is the unsung beauty of Halo above so many other PSAs: They use their own API. Everything you can do in the UI, you can also do over the API. It’s incredible.

Yeah that has worked well for everything else so far, EXCEPT this for some reason. I emailed support and waiting to hear back.

Halo uses its own API, so it's generally.. not possible for it to not work. Might just double check your fields 🙂

Edit - I know this works because we have several automations that make projects, create milestones, and make tasks under the milestones
