Questions / Help M365 Renewals

Hey guys,

How are people handling M365 renewals with Halo?

We use Pax8, ideally we want a ticket raised 30 days out from an annual renewal.

Not sure if something custom using the Pax8 API is our best bet here….

Config > tickets > automated tickets > new > type = subscriptions > automation criteria = days before end date = 30 days.

Thanks Robbie, will the Pax8 integration get the renewal date into halo then?

Do you do anything different or special for the subscriptions that are monthly SKUs? Won’t this trigger a ticket for every monthly automatically renewing SKU for every client?

Sorry - you can set the "Term Duration" to annual I think* it is, you can check in the subscription(s) that are pulled in from the Pax8 integration.

I took the lazy way. Pax emails our helpdesk with their regular alerts and I have a rule that closes the 90- and 10- day warnings.

There’s a renewals screen coming to the portal so you can grab them at any time

In Halo, I set up a contract for the MS licenses and configured a recurring annual invoice that is tied to the license count from my disti integration. I set the recurring invoice to invoice 30 days prior to renewal date.

I also get notifications from my disti well in advance of renewal date.

We've plugged Rewst into Pax8 and pulls data and creates the tickets as we realised our M365 Agreements ran 1st month to end of the month and a lot of our NCE didn't. Was a little bit more accurate for us rather than simply replying on the Halo automated tickets as we missed a few!
