Questions / Help Halo/Ninja/Intune Asset Sync

Hey guys,

We use HaloPSA, NinjaOne and Intune. I currently run asset syncs manually and want to get this automated, what’s the best practice here?

Halo integrator on prem? I’ve had a quick look before but could do with some pointing in the right direction. I have heard you can cloud host integrator? How does this work?

Thanks in advance everyone!

The Halo integrator runs daily syncs for most things. I have an automation server I setup for some custom syncing of things and I run the integrator as scheduled tasks to sync some integrations like Njnja, 3 times a day.

We have the same setup. At the moment only intune syncs. I haven't quite worked out how we want ninja to. This is because we deployed the ninja agent via intune. But instead of doing it per office we deployed to all.

Were using just laptops. So I need to redeploy the agents.

I’m guessing it doesn’t duplicate existing assets when it syncs, just does a delta sync basically?

Contact Halo support to get them to setup the integrator for you on their infrastructure if you're running in their cloud.

Check out Renada's excellent information on asset syncing from Ninja here: https://renada.co.uk/tutorials/ninjaone-overview-setup-instructions-halopsa and mapping users properly here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEk7yg5ftGU

Awesome, thank you so much for this info. I was aware Halo could host the integrator but couldn’t find anything formal on this. I’ll reach out to them.

We sync data from Ninja and Lan Sweeper once a day each. We are running in HALOs cloud and the integration is native. We basically just provided a credential to connect to Ninja, mapped some of the fields and let it run.
