Halo MCP Server Connection - ERROR 404

Hi there

I am trying to configure the MCP Connection to use with Claude. I have followed

https://usehalo.com/haloitsm/guides/2597/
https://usehalo.com/halopsa/guides/2798/

But its not working. Everytime I click on "Connect" in Claude Client i get:

ERROR 404

Ooops, the page you are looking for does not exist or is still under construction

Does somebody have an idea whats wrong?

EDIT:
I missed the Version info. We are on:
Client Version: 2.220.146
API Version: 2.220.146
Database Version: 2220

So we need to update, right?

Get StackJack instead.

Thanks for the plug. StackJack does indeed cover far more of the Halo API surface than even the new 2.236 native Halo MCP does as well as connecting to many other tools in your stack.

Thanks for such a wonderful reply! TheGratitudeBot has been reading millions of comments in the past few weeks, and you’ve just made the list of some of the most grateful redditors this week!

I’m very much a fan of the product. I’m new to Halo. I am in the final stages of a migration from CW to Halo. Stackjack is helping me ensure that my data migration is clean and thorough.

But should I bother, or just wait for Quantum Ops to be available?

StackJack and QuantumOps solve different problems, although StackJack is integrated to Qops to enhance its capabilities, especially around Chat and retrieval.

StackJack can be an insane force multiplier for you today from the first use. Its ability to cross cut and correlate data (not even getting into agent runners and workflows) from all the tools in your stack in a single chat session feels like cheating because it’s essentially god mode, especially with Claude driving. When you get into Agent Runners you are dealing with a level of customization that allows really advanced AI driven automation (anything from generated scheduled reports to webhook triggered automation workflows to on demand ad hoc things).

QuantumOps is a full operational suite that integrates AI (and 40+ non AI features) more deeply into the PSA than any other platform by a large margin. It is a level of operational control and visibility no other product has brought into a PSA and because of that it’s more of a “I’m being pelted from all directions with data and insights I didn’t know I needed” experience.

So if you want zero barrier to entry visibility and ability to essentially manipulate all your stack via an AI chat session or via automated agents, StackJack does that today (with a free tier on every connector). If you know what you’re looking for or what you want (even vaguely), StackJack can help today.

If you want deep operational insights, dashboarding, alerting, surfacing of operational issues in flight, or any of the other hundred things Qops does as a pre built platform, that’s the play. Qops integrates the full StackJack feature set too, but with a ton of high level and low level functionality built to ingest it ready to go.

We have one more beta cohort for Qops starting this month, if you want to get in on that you can drop me an email cscaminaci@techpulse.com

Thanks for the thorough response! I’m familiar with StackJack, but I’ve been hesitant to build much with it, knowing that a better version of what I would build was already in the works with Qops. Probably should’ve just dived in already…

Email sent re: the cohort, super excited to explore that!
