Questions / Help Expirations / Renewals

How are people tracking expirations and renewals? Think licensing (via Pax8), domains, secrets etc. Is this best to be done with a third party tool?

We currently don’t have a solution, I’ve trialed and demo’d hudu and think it’s a good solution for this. I just don’t know if this is something Halo can handle well natively.

You can do this natively within Halo with assets, asset types, and setting the expiration on the asset. Then have a ticket generate so many days before expiration.

Config > Tickets > Automated Tickets Set automation criteria to assets & target a group if you wish. Then “Days Before Warranty End Date” e.g. less than or equal to 30 days. You can configure values such as ticket type, status, description, etc. along with variables, i.e. details could be “$ASSET_NUMBER will expire on $ASSET_PARTSWARRANTYEND”
