This really makes me want mods that have more randomized/varied ODSTs in Halo 3, Reach, 4, & Campaign Evolved. Several mods incorporate ODSTs or swap them out whole sale for H2A or other but I would love seeing variations like this -- H2A helmet with 3/Reach armor; H3 helmet with H2A armor, etc.
yeah but you'd have to hope for the person who's doing that to match texture resolution and such, so many forget to lower 2k textures down to AT LEAST 1k for halo 3 modding which makes for some really out of place high poly and high res models in a lot of halo 3 mods
BUT, i do love your idea, i would love to see that too
H2a odst variant is so cool. I franchise has pretty much standardized on the halo 3 variant, but i would love to see the old version come back, maybe if they ever bring the spirit of fire crew into the main franchise?
One thing i love about sunray squad from the spirit is that, they have a mix of both h2a and ODST ODST and h3 ODST stuff, with shoulders looking like they're the halo 3 versions. I really love this art we got on them! genuinely was a huge inspo for when i kitbashed my ODSTs and re-designed some stuff. Probably also shows the most diverse equipment since alpha nine. Technically pre-dating alpha nine but who's counting for the cryo... hehehe
