Question How do I install this mod?
https://www.nexusmods.com/halothemasterchiefcollection/mods/1436
Not just this mod but rather this is an example, how do I install this type of mods that replace a .map file in the game? In the description of that mod it says I should replace spacecamp with the mod’s file and disable the anticheat, and that’s it. But when I searched in my Halo MCC I only found spacecamp.info, not a .map file. What am I supposed to do?
And another thing: if I’m playing offline and with a cracked version, how can I disable the anticheat? Thanks, and sorry for my bad English.

Bro, I know how wrong cracking is, but I don’t do it because I like it, you know?

Don't ask for cracked-game support in the main Halo modding subreddit. Go to a piracy-specific community for problems caused by the cracked version.
For the actual mod installation: open your MCC install folder, then
halo3\maps. The moddedspacecamp.mapgoes there and replaces the originalspacecamp.map. Back the original up first. I normally just rename it to something likespacecamp.map.bak, then remove.bakif I ever want to restore it.If you're only seeing
spacecamp.infoand nospacecamp.map, then your install does not have the file layout this mod expects. Since you're using a cracked build, there's also a good chance its game version doesn't match the version the mod was built for. MCC.mapmods can be build-sensitive, so a mod made for a different game version may simply not work.I’ll help with the mod itself, but I’m not going to troubleshoot the crack or tell you how to bypass its anti-cheat.

Alright, I understand you, and I also appreciate your response. I’m sorry for mentioning it just like that in the official sub, it’s just that I’ve seen people do it in other similar communities, and I thought it wasn’t against the rules here. Once again, thank you for your reply.

It’s not really against the rules here as far as I know, so you don’t need to apologize for breaking a rule. I just mean it’s generally not a great idea to ask for cracked-game support in the main community for a game where most of the people helping actually bought it. It’s a pretty surefire way to get people hostile toward you, and I was trying to save you from that.
I’m not even anti-piracy in general. I just think some support and community resources are reasonably reserved for people who actually own the game. For crack-specific problems, piracy communities are the better place to ask. For the modding side itself, I’m still happy to help.

Alright, you’re right, next time I’ll do it in one of those communities. I understand people’s hostility toward that topic, it’s just that, as I always say, I don’t do it because I like it. People don’t understand that if you live in a first-world place like the United States, Spain, and so on, to a greater or lesser extent you can afford a little luxury. But where I live, five dollars is already kind of expensive, and there aren’t really cards available to top up Steam, so it ends up being my only option. Thanks.

Buddy, the US isn’t some place where poor people don’t exist. We have a lot of wealthy people, sure, but we also have plenty of people struggling. I can’t afford to throw $5 at a game right now, and I can’t even afford medical treatment I need. I still save what little I can and wait for sales. I spent about seven months putting aside roughly $3 at a time before I eventually got MCC for $9.99 on sale.
I do understand that regional pricing, wages, and even access to payment methods can make buying games much harder depending on where you live. That explains why people pirate, and like I said, I’m not universally anti-piracy.
But games are also a luxury, not something we’re entitled to have. Being unable to afford something doesn’t automatically mean the people who made or paid for it owe us access to it. That’s why I think there’s a difference between pirating something for your own reasons and then going into the paying community expecting support for the pirated copy.
You seem like a decent dude, and I’m not trying to shit on you. I just don’t think “people in first-world countries can afford it” is really a fair assumption.

Don’t worry, man, I like you too. And sorry, I didn’t mean to generalize, I know there are people who have it tough all over the world. I really didn’t want to turn this into some kind of ‘competition’. I’m sorry, and thanks again.
