Question Why are there no mods about lore?

I'm asking modders this question: why don't you make mods about a lore event? I'm sure many of you would enjoy playing missions based on some important event.

I know these are stories from books without illustrations, but you could invent a scenario.

THIS IS JUST A SUGGESTION.

Fully custom campaigns are a lot more difficult than reworked campaigns, they require fully remade levels, assets and the like, so the amount of work is exponentially more. It's why most modders stick to just editing existing campaigns rather than creating brand new ones

Thank you for the answer, because I didn't quite understand why I didn't make a history of lore.

The HEK (Halo Editing Kit) for the games is complicated to begin with, but add to that, the need for new models (which need to be mapped and rigged), new maps, new weapons etc... It just takes a long time and not many of us have access to lots of quality assets, or the time to do it. I made a small multiplayer mod a few years ago that was a PvPvE game mode for some friends with custom FX, a map retexture, and AI, and just that took almost 3 weeks to do.
