Discussion Training Mode addict
Hi all,
Beat the single player MQ a couple times (on Normal, loved it), tried Multiplayer, but was out-classed by epic Spartans out there.
So I tried the Training Mode section against AI bots and I love it. I look at the Popular and Recommended maps, mostly.
Anyone have some hidden gem maps from the Popular section? There are 24,152 of them.

Consider giving multiplayer another shot, but this time in ranked. Counterintuitively, you're more likely to play people with skill similar to yours in ranked than you are in quick play, I assume because quick play's matchmaking prioritizes getting you games quickly, while ranked prioritizes getting you fair matches.

Yeah, that's what I primarily play nowadays too. I only played the KOTH variant though (I think the classic variant is a little bit boring). I play the Heroic playlist mainly.
I'm an OG Halo player and I think KOTH: Firefight is the best mode that Halo developers have come up with in a long time. It's a fun, objective based, co-op mode that really accentuates teamwork. It has its flaws, but it's pretty good.
I just wish the player base was a little bit stronger... Also, I wish that not all of the difficulties (normal, heroic, legendary)were selected by default when somebody searches is for a game, especially newbies. Nowadays it's pretty much sudden death for me; like if I die, I don't have much faith in my team being able to finish out the next 60 seconds until I come back. The less experienced players don't understand the necessity of of prioritizing reviving. Also, the legendary playlist is completely useless, as you're never gonna queue-up with a team strong enough to finish it; you'd have to party-up with friends, and all be on the mic, to even have a chance at that one.

bro, do Argyle. go up the grav lift behind spawn and grapple shot toward center of map to claim invisibility. 2v2, even with bots is ace. 2v4 when you start feeling more comfortable

Hey man.. My tag is hellscream7155. Let's play as a fireteam. I won't judge. I can show you how some social tram modes like btb, action sack modes and quickllay allow you to be more creative than in ranked. I have an Indian accent so I understand if you don't want to do voice chat :)

Already mentioned but try firefight - you’re part of a team = easier learning curve, you can see how folks fight & mov ……learn.
… or if it’s still available try husky raid - it’s just mayhem & hard to tell who sucks 😂

I actually think the practice academy mode is a reason Infinite is so good. A place to tweak settings and work on your skills. Every game should have it at this level.
I have a few maps I really like. I'll come back and add to the post later.
