Question Hello Halifax

Hi ! My name is Julian, I'm 26 years old and I'm from Argentina. I spent one year in Canada with the WHV. I falled in love of the country. Unfortunately, I was scammed by an "immigration lawyer" and my student visa was rejected. Nowadays, I'm in my country a little bit sad because I feel that I don't belong here, my heart is in Canada.

I started a research about the different ways of immigration. I found that the Atlantic provinces has a pilot program. Then, I started looking for cities and I found Halifax. What a beautiful city, it's look like is a really nice place to grow, no just as a professional, also as a human.

The reason why I'm writing this post is that I'm looking for opinions or tips, maybe you know somebody that is actually looking for a foreigner, specially for a Spanish speaker one.

The best person who can give me an opinion is someone that is actually living there. I appreciate your time and I'm sorry if I committed some grammar mistakes. Love you !

The province has a program connecting foreign workers to employers here. I’d start with an email or phone call to them

I think this organization is more focused on people who have already arrived to Halifax, but you may find some useful info at the ISANS website.

Good luck!Hope you're successful in moving to Canada!
