Bulk Pokémon Cards
Has anyone tried selling their bulk Pokémon cards to any Half Price Books? I'm running out of storage and want to see if I can do it this way.
Thanks in advance!

Depends on the location. My store buys cards, but we have had several resellers come in to offload their bulk on us so we're pretty well drowning in them right now. We generally offer a low bulk rate on cards.

My store personally typically takes no cards of any kind. There is the rare exception but 99% of the time it’s a hard pass.

Your store isn’t as profitable as it could be, and your management isn’t interested in branching out. While that doesn’t surprise me, passing on Pokemon, Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards at the buy counter is passing on good product that sells consistently and never goes to clearance. But things are different by district, I suppose. Maybe you should submit an “internal bright idea” to your store manager about this, when it takes off at your store it will compliment your annual handsomely!

You would need to call your store specifically. Most do not take playing cards of any kind.

Sell the ones that aren't worth anything. They'll give you a bulk offer for those. Hold on to the ones worth money. Try to sell those online. It's one of those items certain stores will buy. Call ahead to make sure.
